Wealth of region: The country is not the weathest therefore when the disaster occurred they were relying on other countries for aid and assistance.

Building materials: They did not have enough money for stronger building materials, so when the earthquake hit the buildings came crashing down.

Time of day: The time of day did not effect it as it was during the day and everything was visible.

Population density: There was 28.98 million people in Nepal at the time of the earthquake.

People prepared: They were prepared for the earthquake but were not sure when the disaster was bound to strike.
